Meade #495 Autostar has numeric key pad and can be upgraded to a #497 Autostar with this set of seral cable and software from Meade. It must have the firmware version 22Et or above to use with Non ETX telescopes. Firmware 22Et has the setting for DS and LX telescopes
Meade #494 Autostar has no numeric keypad. You must use the Meade #506 serial cable to connect to the PC. There is no compatible product for the Meade #506 cable.
